Warm jeans -check-, light sweaters -check-, pink fuzzy bunny slippers -check-, flannel Sponge Bob jammies -check-. I am SO ready for Fall and this weekend it arrived with a vengeance! My birthday was Saturday and it was the first day of true Fall weather. We went from mid eighties on Friday to 72 on Saturday and only 67 on Sunday! I was LOVING it! To make it even better, it rained all day yesterday. We haven't had a good rain like that in months. When I woke up, the sky was all gray and it was pouring, perfect weather to lull you back to sleep which is exactly what I did... well, maybe not back to sleep, but I laid in bed just a little bit longer listening to the pitter, patter of the rain drops and the rustling of the leaves on the trees outside our bedroom window. I was FINALLY able to open all the windows and let the fresh air in! There really couldn't have been a more perfect weekend to celebrate my birthday!

There's something about Autumn that inspires me to start fresh. I know some folks reserve that for Spring, but not me. I love Autumn. Living at the top of a mountain, surrounded by the incredible splendor of the Smokey Mountains at their most glorious time makes it all the better. There is something about looking out my writing window and seeing the spectacular bursts of orange, red, gold and sienna surrounding me that lights my creative fires and brings forth my most creative ideas.

This past year has been tough on a lot of us, but you know what? We're different. We're of the breed of people who are realizing that we don't have to participate in the world recession. Slowly but surely, we're discovering our assets i.e. talents and are being inspired to put them to work for us! THAT is how it's supposed to be! Why should we continue to work like dogs for companies who really don't give a damn about us when we have everything it takes to be all we need to be and then some!

I began coaching back in 1999 before coaching was the industry it has become. With the soon to be released Simply Believe book I have seen a tremendous increase in requests for coaching that involves self-inspiration, motivation and empowerment. I am finding that I love this coaching the best of all because I am able to help people REALLY see what they are made of. I am amazed at how many people really don't realize their self-worth and their talents, but I love being part of the process of discovery and it's a wonderful feeling to be there when it finally dawns on them!

Several years ago, I became a devout follower of the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes. Even after all of my religious friend warned me it was "evil", although none of them had ever read it, they just judged it based on what they "heard".  It was in May of this year that I realized how I was letting all of the things around me - the people, church (I left mainstream Christianity in May of this year), friends, and even family members hold me back.  I made some pretty drastic changes and REALLY applied the lessons found in The Secret and the results have been nothing short of AMAZING!!!  It was through the attitude of gratitude that I was able to truly appreciate the assets I have been blessed with, from web design talents to graphic artistry and even writing. All of these things are assets that can be used to better myself and the world around me should I choose to use them in the way they are meant to be used. How can that be evil?

The key to this process is really what you put into it. You're going to get out of it, what you put into it and what you put into it is really contingent about what you believe you are capable of. In my opinion, you are capable of ANYTHING! You can be whatever you want to be, you need only go after your dreams. I have lived this belief and it works.

With Autumn at my doorstep, I am feeling SO incredibly creative! There are some amazing ideas and visions brewing in my mind and the feeling of expected blessings are enough to make me want to explode with the feeling of being grateful for everything and everyone in my life!!

What are your assets? Are you using them to their fullest potential? If you're reaching the end of your rope with the world around you, let this change of season be a time of change in your life and the way you look at yourself. You are equipped with everything you need to be prosperous in ALL area of your life!

Until we meet again...Simply Believe!

Starting Over...

After 3 years of blogging about my personal life I've decided it;s time to move on to bigger and better things. Not only that, I accidentally deleted my old blog and instead of going through the hassle of trying to get Go Daddy to reactivate it at a cost of over $120, I decided to just start fresh.

A lot has happened since I began blogging back in 2006. I've launched not one but THREE Internet television portals! I am loving the development work and the technology. In May of this year I left main stream Christianity and became a "free-thinker. My last blog took the brunt of that transition and the reasons that led up to it. I'm leaving all that behind.

Two years ago I read the book The Secret, by Rhonda Byrnes and my life was transformed! I began applying the principles of the Law of Attraction and watched the most amazing things come about in my life. Part of the reason I left the mainstream religion was because of the intolerance many of my "friends" had for my new belief. It didn't line up with what the believed and as a result, I was constantly criticized and condemned. I am really glad I broke away and started living life to its fullest.

I'll be sharing the victories I've experienced and keep experiencing since then too.

Currently, I am working on my 3rd book with my very good friend Rocco Morelli. The title of the book is Simply Believe. The book is written for people who want more in their life but because of false teachings or false beliefs have never been able to achieve more. Stay tuned for more details about that as well.

So, welcome to my new blog! I am glad you're here! I look forward to getting to know you!
